This building dates back to the 1890s when it was built by ship captain William Northup. The inn has apparently had some strange happenings, including sounds with no apparent source, classical music, children giggling and playing, a woman's apparition wearing a Victorian nightgown, and the smells of cooking breakfast have been detected before the kitchen was even open.
