  • Black shadow

Friends and I ghost hunted here several times when I lived in Alachua. One night, we saw a huge black shadow flying through the trees, and then it headed straight for us... it was the most terrifying experience I've had there

  • Feeling of doom.

My boyfriend and I went here after dark. It’s the site of an old ghost town and 1st county seat of Alachua. The town no longer exists but there is the cemetery and part of the road. We both got a feeling of anxiety and doom at the back of the cemetery by a tree. The oldest graves are in the back.
