This location no longer operates as a bed and breakfast but the Queen Isabella was said to be its most haunted room. The ghost of Miss Mabel is who is said to reside in the room. The owners gave her this nickname in the 1920s because they weren't sure what her real name was, but she was a visitor of the inn. When Mabel's new husband went fishing, she begged him not to go because she had an eerie feeling that something may go wrong. Sure enough, a storm came in, capsizing his boat and he drowned. Mabel stayed at the hotel until she died shortly after, and she is rumored to still linger the building. Her spirit has been seen by many, often with a suitcase and sometimes she has been known to ask guests, "When are we leaving?" She also moved the crystal wine decanter top and other items. Ghost hunters have also claimed that she is not the only spirit at the hotel - that of a young boy and a man with a handlebar mustache have both been detected.
