Scared Me

Whew! Now I know what it is like to be completely surrounded and swallowed up inside a horror movie. TechWood Terror was the best in a scary experience. I can see why they are considered one of the best in Florida. Not only are they the best but they are unique - just not like the other haunted attractions.They have the great actors, the scary maze, the dazzling effects, and the jump scares but they also have heart. That sounds weird, but there is a passion to what this haunt is all about. I'm not sure what it is but I think it has a lot of soul. Don't miss this if you get the chance to experience it for yourself

I loved it - and it scared me a lot

I can't believe that I had this much fun at a haunted house, or woods, or ride, or whatever it was! I was in the woods, I was out of the woods, I was in a lab, I was in a maze, I was on a hayride, I was in a swamp. Face the Fear was everything I could have wanted it to be and so much more. And there was this one creature that jumped on the trailer with us, I about wet my pants, I didn't, that would have been bad on the hay.The AI is on the loose and I was terrified. Great job to the scare team of Face the Fear

So Smart

Face the Fear is smart, fun, scary, and did I mention FUN?My family and I loved the AI twist and we got a chance to walk and ride. The way this haunted attraction unfolded was part scare attraction, part show, and then more scares. Perfect storytelling that takes the entire haunted house industry and turns it on it's backside by offering a new a better way to do things. Keep up the great great great work. Can't wait to see what you do next.

We look forward to this haunted house every year! The church does a great job at putting this on and puts a lot of work into making it a personalized, scary experience! The mazes are so much fun and hard! Super underrated and the staff are very kind and put a lot of effort into making it a great experience!

More than Creepy

Welcome to TechWood a new form of Halloween experiences. I was not sure what to expect when I went to Face the Fear. It was not slammed with thousands of people, instead it was a very friendly, not weird, nice environment. They even had good hotdogs for sale. Don't let those friendly people in the front fool you. They put the scary people out in the woods and they are waiting for you.The trails were great, very rustic, and very scary. The creatures were startling. Along the way you got a chance to experience what might best be described as mini-shows that unpacked an incredible story. It was imaginative, a lot of hard work went into it. and to be honest it was a lot smarter than the run of the mill usual haunted attractions. That may be what sets this one apart and makes it a bit better than the rest.There was some high tech tricks, some low tech treats, and some walking, riding, creepy moments that I will remember for a long time. We screamed and smiled and it was a perfect night and perfect event. I highly recommend it if you are looking for something that is a cut above the rest of the stuff out there. All of that stuff is fun. This is the filet mignon of horror attractions. (I also love the extra take home giveaways. Great candy corn story, fun film, and good stuff to use when you are afraid.

The future is here?

How do you mix a futuristic AI theme, with a haunted attraction theme, with a walk through not one but two different sets of woods? The answer is Techwood Terror Face the Fear.My family loved it. We laughed, a lot of oohs and ahhs, and of course some startling screams. The best part is that the Face the Fear group is always telling a story and not just trying to blood and gore us into numbness.This is the way a scary Halloween attraction should be. Smart, scary, and saavy. Kuddos to Face the Fear for creating another can't miss, must visit Halloween attraction. We plan on going back again next weekend.

AI had so much fun

Tell you how much fun I had for your 2024! It had an artificial intelligence day that I thought they did a great job at telling a story. It is a blend of old school, new school, low tech, high tech. Just the right blend. A lot of smiles, some good screams, and a real uneasy, kind of experience. As always, they did an amazing job. And when I say amazing, I am talking about a maze. One that you can’t get out of bed with some crazy women screaming at you before you go in and then whatever they have inside. We are planning on going back next weekend. You should check out the face the fear.

"Not throwing away my shot" is a line uttered by the Dr. Hamilton at Sasquatch Park. As soon as I heard it I thought AHA - here we go. So smart and an amazing detail. It is the fun approach and creative story that draws me back to Face the Fear each year. The Bigfoot story was great and the new trails were fantastic. The clown encounter was also fun. Old clowns never die, they just keep clowning around.Thanks for a fun fear filled night. My family and I loved it and we will be back.

CLOWNS

There are clowns in the woods. What else do I have to say. Do I really need to mention the maze, the graveyard, the funeral home, the circus midway, the circus museum? There are creepy scary clowns!And then there is the Bigfoot mystery finally solved forever. They use a portal to remain unseen but I have now seen it.These two events are the best. Great time and great fun. Best value haunt in Central Florida. And Face the Fear tells the best stories - I loved it all

Sasquatch Park

The entrance to Sasquatch Park was amazing. Made me feel like I was in a movie. The woods are terrifying and the time traveling portal was stunning. Great screams, good scares, and good fun.If that was not enough. The clowns are creepy and horrifying in their own eerie special way. Wheelchairs, Carnival games, and a mausoleum are bad enough. But then you add the maze and well - this place is just the best!

Fantastic - Amazing scary stories

What I love most about Face the Fear each year is the storytelling. I can bring my family and know they willl be safe, they are surrounded by some amazing storytellers, we will scream, yell, laugh - maKE BELIEVE fear is so much fun. Thank you once again for another great year of Entertaiment. You guys are the best in the state of Florida.

What a blast - times two

Wasn't sure what to expect. Was surprised and entertained in the best possible way. As a horror event, don't expect slash and hack here - instead expect some great clean, scary boos and fun. Loved the people, great cast, great environment. I highly recommend this - there is something for everyone. Laughs and screams!

I am so thankful that I discovered this event. When you see one gorefest you have seen them all. I know for some people, they love that kind of thing. I prefer good old-fashioned scare me, make me laugh, surprise me, and don’t insult me. As insane as it sounds, these guys tell a great story. They managed to do so in a great atmosphere. It is run by volunteers and they make the experience over the top - the ufos and the Integratron was fantastic-thank you

Amazing and Fun

Too cool - great aliens, great story, great energy, great cast, Spooky fun. It is so good to be scared without the slash and hack em up stuff that so many use. For me that is more gross than scary. This event is smart and frightening.The folks that host the event are amazing, very customer friendly and they create an environment that works. Add to the mix some creatures, mazes, clowns, and BOB - you have a winner

The Unexpected

This is not your normal review because I went not expecting too much. Face the Fear was an amazing event and it changed my life. Seriously! It changed my life. The story people at the attraction are great and they completely submerged me into an alien encounter experience. Good quality of scares, theming, and fun. But they also give you a bonus included with your admission - a DVD. It is good, well produced, and gives you a short scary eerie movie to watch, some promotional stuff, but then it gives you some information on how to deal with fear.So make sure you get this right. The group that is trying their best to scare you then gives you a DVD to teach you that you don't have to be afraid. It was very helpful and useful. Like I said, I didn't expect it, but the things I have learned have changed me. So Face the Fear changed my life! What else could ask?

What just happened?

This was crazy good fun and scary.It was an outdoor haunted trail walk in the woodsIt was an indoor haunted house experience (alien morgue and UFO, it was a ride on experience - a dark ride into the pit. So I got to be inside, outside, and take a ride - where else can you do that?Great scares, great story, great place to goNo wonder they are ranked so high on Florida Haunted Houses - this place is the best and their cast is amazing

Restricted Area

I knew we were going to see something we had never seen before. Aliens, yes, I came face to face with not just one but many of them. I saw a mortuary where alien bodies were being tested and dumped. I ran through the interior of an alien spacecraft. Then the haunted trail turned into a ride, a strange alien life machine. The perfect blend of screams, laughs, and surprises. Minus all the blood and gore. You can't spend the evening anywhere else having more fun

Every year Face the Fear surprises me. As a frequent customer I am always amazed at the creativity, the story, the fun, and the surprises. This year it was not just a walk through the woods, which is fun and scary, you add an alien attack, a crashed plane, and then it became a ride through event. I don't know what else you could ask for. They are still the best !

Creatures!

Didn't know what to expect but had an amazing time. Very scary and it definitely lived up to the hype. We were not disappointed and can't wait to go again,. The maze was terrifying. The creatures were everywhere. I tried to be silent but I just had to scream and because I did, they found me. Great job to the cast and crew. There was a real story and real scares.

Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time there was a mine and the mine was cursed! The story team from Face the Fear have done it again !The perfect blend of great story and scary stuff allows the customers to get scared and create a time they will not forget. Frightening creatures , eerie cast of actors , and the woods make it work.I’ve been to HHN and get sick of the blood and gore. The way to scare is with unexpected great storytelling. Maybe Horror Nights should talk to the people from Face the FearBest in the state without a doubt

You have got to be kidding me! This was way too much fun. I screamed even though I was supposed to be silent which meant the creatures found me. Awesome setting, the woods were scary. Something was out there in the woods

Amazing! Face the Fear outdoors was fantastic. When I had scarecrows come to life and jump into our vehicle I thought I would die.. It was scary, it was fun, it was smart. The perfect attraction for this Halloween season! It also was encouraging and the DVD that was given away with admission price contained some very great resources on how to handle fear.

This haunt is worth 10 Pumpkins on a 5 Pumpkin scale!You have to understand this coronavirus version of Face the Fear is the best in Florida! These guys managed to pull it off and keep us safe, they did it without the slasher gore fest approach (way too easy for them) and they gave us a good background story.Scariest moments1- Those creatures in the woods (still not sure what they were they just freaked me out)2- Clowns3-Scarecrows4-Alligators (these guys were nuts)The entire ride was dark, scary, fun, and made me scream. The wait was even fun and the night we were there was sold out - so make sure you get there early to get the ticket.

The Gator King was fun, scary, and a screamfest. What an amazing group of actors, staff, and drivers. No kidding, we were deep in the woods. Who knew there was so much to find in the woods of WS?I loved it, year in and year out this group does such a great job, this year is no different

The outdoor haunt event of the year.The team of Face the Fear reinvented themselves this year and created a ride thru attraction that made me scream. I know it is not real, but being out in the woods, a long way from others, trees closing in from all sides was crazy. Somehow they even got clowns in the outdoors! Don't miss this event. The night we were there is sold out, we waited about 45 minutes to get in. It was worth it and we will do it again.

Outdoor excitement

The Gator King was amazing. Fantastic atmosphere, great cast, and fun people. This was a high energy outdoor experience that allowed us to scream, holler, and laugh as we were attacked and chased by all sorts of creatures.

I am a huge fan of face the fear. I love what these guys do each year. This year the scares are out of this world. Aliens and clowns. What could be more scary?I also love the attention to detail. They put you in a haunted hotel, I heard Come Sail Away playing as I entered (a real alien song), there were cast members disappearing, sudden surprises, and so much to see and experience. The DVD was great as well. Getting ready for next year - don't ever miss Face the Fear

Best haunted house!

We are haunted house fanatics and have been looking for something other than the Halloween Horror Nights scene. We've been to a lot in the central florida area and this was by far the best! Highly recommend! The entire experience was fantastic.

Face the Fear has returned to the Longwood hotel that is truly haunted. I loved the treat they gave us by taking us upstairs and giving us a look inside of it. Of course the real thrills are found in the wickedly funny, cool, and scary story they are telling us. An alien invasion has occurred and been covered up. I know this because of the historical marker in the yard of the hotel (yes-they put up their own historical marker-loving the detail)Great fun. I was smiling and then screaming. This is a great family haunted attraction. My young teens had a great time as well. I love the push back against the demonic and appreciate they don't cheapen it with the slasher gore.Worth the wait, the time, and the trip. Planning on catching it again with some other friends. Aliens are a little freaky. So when I heard about an alien attack in Central Florida I had to check it out. I nearly wet my pants. I screamed, I laughed, and want to come see it again.Then if the aliens (and there were aliens everywhere) wasn't bad enough - then I saw a clown. Aliens and clowns in one night was enough to send me over the edge.I had a great time. The people that produce this show are some of the nicest and best out there. I also enjoyed watching the DVD that they gave to each guest. Some nice little horror films and some very practical advice on facing fears and scary moments.

I gotta tell you I love Face the Fear. I love the aliens, I love the scary actors, I love the food, I love the creepy hotel , I love the maze , and I love the story!The Face the Fear crew take the science of scaring people to another level. They drop their guests into a scary world with a great gun story. They don’t cheapen it with slash and hack, but drive you through an exciting expertI also love the DVD you get as a guest. The whole thing was scary and fun! A great thing for the whole family if you can handle being terrified. The maze was incredibly disorienting. It was such a blast. I was invited my my friend’s family. I loved it so much I took my family the next weekend.

Scared of clowns

This is good old Halloween fun. The story designers of this Fear house take a good background story and make it scary and fun.No blood or gore fest - just an old school good time. Great family environment and creative beyond description. As you are planning your fall events, make this a must visit. We did and will be back.

I'm Just Saying Clowns Make Me FREAK!

Absolutely over the top insanity! Face the Fear has let the clowns out and nothing will ever be the same. The international clown university is a training school for clowns that has gone horribly wrong.The weird creep you out backstory of the train wreck, the clowns establishing a new life, and the mystery of the clown capers (never solved) were enough to get me scared. But then I got inside the house and it was well - terrifyingly fun.My entire party was screaming, the clowns had a blast scaring us and did a great job at it too. I absolutely loved it and the fun house at the end was a never ending series of twists and turns (and I should mention there were clowns inside!)All in all a great experience, a great haunted attraction, and tons of fun. We will return. Get there early to beat the lines, you will have to wait. The reason I think they often get sold out is because they allow this to be a small group, small tour experience. That makes it scarier and is so much better than the long lines of people that stream through these kind of things. Thanks for not compromising the experience because I am sure there are some that will complain because they have to wait. My wait was well worth it.

Crazy Clowns!

Face the Fear has rocked it with the International Clown University! It was crazy and scary. This is the way that haunted houses are supposed to be. Fun, Frightening, and Full of surprises. This one did not disappoint.I thought the story was great. I got as chance to read the backstory while I waited eating a funnel cake. The wait was reasonable for this type of event (1 hour) I am sure they sold out because people kept coming to go in.Once inside, it was dark, spooky, and the clowns made it real. I was terrified and thoroughly entertained. The DVD they gave us had a spooky little movie on it as well, so there was great fun and take home swag. It was a great end to our weekend.Get ready to have your fear of clowns brought back to life again. ICU is the place for you.

Clowns are Crazy

I wasn't real sure if I wanted to go - the title about creeped me out. However, what I always love about face the fear is that these guys have a good time and let their guests have a good time.I was scared. The clowns were everywhere. Birthday clowns, rodeo clowns, historical clowns, and circus clowns were scary fun. The back story this year was less complicated than the previous year, I liked that as well. It made sense, allowed me to suspend belief, and then scared me with no cheap blood and gory thrills, instead, real fear.The DVD and the clown magnet were a nice gift when I was done. Great value, great fun, great time, and lots of screaming. Headed back next weekend.

They are back again!

Just read the details - what is up with that? You have to know I have visited in the past and the Face the Fear clown crew was pretty scary. I can't imagine living through the scare house when the clowns are running the show.

It is like no other hunted house I have ever visited. I love how they have a plot and you go in only with your group and no one else which makes it even more scary.

And screamed....creepier than Mr. Creeper himself. Once again, the frightmasters @ Face the Fear managed to make us jump and shout without blood and gore.

Scary Scary Scary

This has got to be one of the best developed stories of any haunted attraction! Scares and chills and this time a real haunted hotel are the setting. You will love it. I also loved the DVD you get just for surviving the experience. So much better than the rest of the bunch of scares out there. It is a fun family time that will give you the creeps!

Face the Fear Rocks

The Face the Fear event rocked. I love the old haunted hotel. It is creepy and has such a weird vibe. Love the actors, especially the ones that set up the story within the story. It all adds to the element of suspence and fear. It also gives this haunted attraction a level of quality that others do not match. The lines were long. I was told that the event sold out opening night when I was there. But I loved it and will be back next year. I am trying to go back and visit again for weekend two.

Too Much Fun

Can't believe it is time again!

The new story line and the new location for 2016 gives me the creeps! I can't imagine what you are going to do in the haunted hotel (and yes, it is really haunted) - by the time Face the Fear is done with it, it is like 2 haunted houses for the price of one!I can't wait for the opening of this event. It is always the best and the best value of any of the attractions out there. Get ready to be afraid.

A Very Scary Good Time

We decided to try this as part of our evening of introducing our friends from Ukraine to an American holiday. We had such a scary good time. Loved the British tour guide woman. Sorry she had to bite the dust. If that clueless woman who pulled the blanket from the cursed doll and evoked havoc is ever found, I hope that she is remorseful!

New Halloween Tradition!

This was our first year visiting Face the Fear House and we had a blast! I loved that it was family-friendly - I didn't need to worry about my kids seeing anything inappropriate. The actors were amazing and never broke character! The scares were legit - it was certainly a fun kind of scary! We traveled down from Jacksonville to do it and we were not disappointed! Making this a new Halloween tradition!

Crazy scary fun

I loved it! What a great time and great cast. This is the best scary attraction in Central Florida. Strong themes and storyline . Even better without the way too easy gore fest . DVD and magnet giveaway are added bonus. Don't miss this attraction.

Scary and the best haunted house!

This was amazing! I am not scared easily but this is a true scary experience! I will one back next year for sure! Pitch dark path and fantastic actors! 5 stars!!!

I used to like dolls!

I went to Face the Fear not knowing what to expect. I joined the crowd outside waiting and met reporters and had something to eat while I waited that part was great! Then my host took my small private tour into what was 20 minutes of my worst nightmare. I used to like dolls until I met the creepy ones they had in Face the Fear. This was a doll factory gone real bad and even managed to turn a Barbie Dream House into a bad bad dream. Finally when I thought I was done I had to face the huge dolls in the shipping maze. I never thought I would get out. And now I can't wait to go back in. There is not a better haunted house in Orlando. Face the Fear is the best environment - they don't act weird, they make the scares fun, and they really have created a family event that is flat out scary! I went home and boxed up all my dolls and put them out in the garage.

Wow, wow, wow!

I visited the haunted doll event and I was not disappointed. The house had a retro, cool vibe that left my smiling, laughing, and screaming. In addition we got a great DVD as a give-away. Each year we visit and we were not disappointed. This is the best value, best event, and best screams in Central Florida. Wicked well done!

Dolls. Freakin' creepy dolls.

Clowns. And more dolls...And the maze! Seems like an easy out but we were surprisingly discombobulated! These folks scared the bejeebus out of us with out blood & gore...that's TALENT! As my husband said, "These guys just ain't right!"

Scary stuff

Maybe these guys at Face the Fear know something that the rest of us don't / A digital virus that can jump into and infect a human being? That is scary stuff.Great cast, crazy clowns, frightening hazmat suits, and a dark crazy maze (and just an fyi-in the maze you ARE NOT ALONE)The night I went they sold out early, but the wait was so worth it. Can't wait to do it again!

Face the Fear is at it again!

I cannot wait to go through Face the Fear this year! Every year the theme is super unique and creative. It's scarier than HHN to me, especially since you aren't going in with a long line of people the whole time, you never know what's coming next. I'm sure this year it will be even scarier back at the old school again! Can't wait!

Really fun and scary

Went on a Saturday night, there was a small wait but there was food and enough to do till it was our turn. The walk through the woods was scary and we had a lot of laughs. It was fun for my whole family (8 year old was our youngest). We would go again.

First Time Going, not impressed

I did enjoy all the Big Foot photos and other items in the beginning, but the forest was not that great, they needed more people in the woods jumping out and maybe some background music. The tour guide did not want me taking photos. WHAT? Anyway waste of $40 will never go again.

Scary Good Time

The face the fear crew is at it again. I have previewed this years event and it is awesome. The Bigfoot Live experience is scary and the woods are dark! Anything can happen and you will be screaming. Don't miss out, the best in town is still the best.

Scary, Fun, Best Show in Town

I LOVE this event because they always have a great story. It's not just a scare experience, they create an entire atmosphere that weaves a story line throughout the event. The PTA moms were hilarious, Professor Duncan was quite a character, the science experiments were creative and the creepy school made us jump, laugh and almost pee our pants! Thanks so much to the people who put together a quality event that is fun, scary, great value. My family cannot wait until next year!

They have taken over a school !

I can't wait for Face the Fear to return again this year. Each year this one of the "must visit" haunted attractions in Central Florida. They have the best storylines, the best detail, and we have more fun being scared with the creators of this event than anywhere else, and that included Halloween Horror Nights at Universal.Don't miss it, It appears that this year they have taken over a school, the old Longwood Elementary School which was recently closed by the county. I can only imagine what terror awaits...we will be there!

Too Scary!

This place was awesome, it played with my head, it scared me without the usual slash and hack junk (which is way too easy isn't it?) Great story, spooky sleep nightmare institure and fantastic cast made this the best of the 5 haunted houses I visited this year.Can't wait to see what they come up with for next yearIf you get the chance, check them out!

Dreams, Nightmares, and Clowns

I spend a lot of time visiting places like this during Halloween and I have to admit that when I got there this place had a great "vibe." The story started as soon as I bought my tickets. The Sleep Institute nightmare scenario was great. Creepy weird doctor who took us in, being put to sleep and entering the nightmare was well done, then the various nightmare scenes were scary and entertaining. I actually yelled out loud when I went through the swamp. There is something alive in those trees! Thanks for a great time and I really enjoyed the DVD given out at the exit. I cannot wait until next year and next time.

Scared all of us

This was great, my entire group was scared. Creepy off the charts, scary to be sure, fun...fun...fun. What a great atmosphere, what a great story, and what a great time! Loved the DVD give away at the end. Can't wait until next year!

Yikes! Still the best!

This haunted house rocks! It is so creative and over the top. I was screaming, laughing, and when I was done I wanted to go again. This event is my favorite to visit and I go back each year. This time when I went home I was afraid to go to sleep...nightmares, clowns, and more!
