This home is rumored to be haunted by a ghostly female who is in search of her family that had been missing for years. It has been reported that she still looks out the window in hopes that she will find her family. The location is now a lawyer's office and it has been said that papers and personal belongings sometimes go missing or move around. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

I lived in Saint Lucie County for almost 30 years. This house is in downtown Fort Pierce. It overlooks the intercostal waters. I have been inside the place and it felt as if someone was watching me from afar. I used to take my children when they were little for walks down there and I would always see or hear something odd when I went by this house. I have seen a lady in the upstairs rooms and I would hear sobbing or a female voice at times when I passed by. It is haunted.
