Review This HauntUniversal’s not so scary halloween party
It has gotten really tame and they have put an emphasis on design. Each year is less scary than the last. So if you are into set design its good to look at. If you love halloween and all things scary its an overpriced Mickey’s not so scary halloween party with no candy or parade.
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Wow..
I had visited many haunted houses. I love to get scared too… But the experiences here was really beyond my expectations. The scariest ones were the Dead Waters and the Scare Crow. The less intense ones were the Shining and the Saw. The rides were really great. Props and decors were great. For the terrors we saw, the ticket prices were reasonable. We will be back.
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Email Verified Unique Experience
The line to Halloween Horror Nights was very long but the visit was worth the wait. The Scare Crow was really a terrifying one, so was the Dead Waters. The Blum House was a bit confusing. The Monsters and Mutants were creepy to say the least. The Festival of the Deadliest was a different experience altogether. For the first time I was watching the Bill and Ted and I think it is meant for children. The scare zones were very frightening. Definitely we will be back.

Email Verified Crowds, Crowds, Crowds
I understand that they are one of the major parks in FL, but the crowds the past few years are ridiculous. They also seem to be catering more and more to the movie/tv show audience, which might boost attendance, but lacks originality. Their Ghosttown and Temple houses were great though and had great effects too.
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Length of Event: > 1 hour Time Visited: After 9PM Would Recommend: Unsure Suitable For Kids: No Email Verified Ok but WAY to crowded and expensive!
HHN is ok. At some points you get scared but a lot of the park is empty space (no actors) unlike HOS where no where is safe. Plus the scariest part is all the rude drunk people and that really takes away from the scare factor. The lines are ridiculously long and since Universal is compact you are constantly bumping into people or being bumped into. Also some of the actors don't do as good of a job as they should and only jump out at certain people (teen girls). Overall, for the price, HHN is not worth it.

Absolutely as terrifying and fun as it's hyped to be! Only downside is cost, because express passes are almost necessary to get the full experience in a single night. But make a weekend out of it and you've got one HELL of a good time! Absolutely worth every penny. Honestly the best Halloween experience you can have as an adult, and absolutely the most terrifying, heart pumping attractions. This is the 4th year my family is going!

Ridiculously overcrowed
I went for the first time this year. I am 36 years old, and I was ready to be scared! Instead, I got to wait in 1-2+ hour lines for two 3-minute haunted houses. I was there for five hours and only got in to two haunted houses!! That, and being accosted by the hoards of drunk people, not my idea of a good time. Two thumbs way down.
Posted October 2012Best Halloween Night!!
This is by far the best Halloween event that I have been to. My husband and I like to go to as many haunted events as we can every year. We have been to small local attractions as well as major attractions. Universal's Halloween Horror Nights is absolutely the best even compared to Busch Garden's Howl-O-Scream.

The best quality haunted attraction you will find, but be prepared to spend a lot of money on admission (even with a FL resident discount) and spend most of your time waiting in line
